In the field of European Affairs, the Ruhr Regional Association (RVR) follows a twofold mission:

First, as a regional platform, we support municipalities and counties from the Ruhr Metropolis in their European affairs. This includes joint initiatives to address common interests and raising the profile of the Ruhr Metropolis in Europe.

Second, since the Ruhr Regional Association (RVR) hosts a series of regional networks, we act as a central contact point for EU-Institutions and international partners.
