The website www.rvr.ruhr is the information portal (“Information Portal”) operated by the Regionalverband Ruhr (Ruhr Regional Association - RVR) with its registered office in Essen.

The RVR is a public body.

The RVR Association area includes the independent cities of Bochum, Bottrop, Essen, Dortmund, Duisburg, Gelsenkirchen, Hagen, Hamm, Herne, Mülheim an der Ruhr, Oberhausen, and the administrative districts of Recklinghausen, Wesel, Unna and Ennepe-Ruhr, with a total of around 5.1 million residents.

The focus of the statutory duties of the RVR is the well-being of the Ruhr Metropolis.

In that case, they must not be used without the prior consent of the copyright holder for any other purposes than the intended use of the Information Portal. It is in particular prohibited to reproduce, save, modify, distribute or make them publicly accessible without the prior consent of the copyright holder. It is permitted to place a link to the Information Portal, provided that the RVR website accessed becomes the sole content of the browser window of the website from which it is accessed.

All protected brands and trademarks used on the Information Portal and potentially protected by third-party rights are subject without restriction to the provisions of the respectively applicable trademark law of the respective rights holder.

Any party violating copyright or trademark law must expect to receive cease-and-desist claims and potentially compensation claims from the rights holder, and in the event of intentional violations must also expect criminal prosecution.

The information on the Information Portal is compiled with the greatest possible care and continuously updated. It is nevertheless impossible to guarantee freedom from errors. The RVR therefore excludes any and all liability or guarantee regarding the accuracy, completeness and actuality of the information provided on the Information Portal.

This applies in particular to the third-party websites to which links are placed, and over which the RVR has no influence. The RVR therefore expressly excludes any liability for the contents of such third-party websites.

The RVR reserves the right to amend or supplement the information or data provided at any time and without advance notice.
